聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 A young teenager from Canora was celebrated for receiving an award naming him Saskatchewan鈥檚 Baseball Umpire of the Week.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Durban Hleboff is a 14-year-old who is enjoying his second year as a level one umpire for Zone Four, and for the week of July 25 to 31, the Saskatchewan Baseball Association named him the umpire of the week.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Hleboff is an important individual because he is so eager to be involved in the community, a release from the Saskatchewan Baseball Association said. When he is not umpiring for baseball, he is refereeing hockey and volunteering for different programs in the community.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Hleboff enjoys hockey, golf, lacrosse, and football.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The Saskatchewan Baseball Umpire of the Week program recognizes young umpires of merit in the province every week during the baseball season.
