Bantams win game one

By Jeff Schneberk Staff Writer

Tristan Mundt had two goals and Riley Rozdeba and Evan Werle each had one as the UCT Bantam Terriers beat Moose Jaw 4-1 in the opening game of their best-of-three playoff series.

The Terriers have now won four of their past five contests. Colton Dudar leads the team in scoring so far with a goal and three assists while six players are all tied with three apiece. Riley Cannon replied with the lone goal for the Warriors. Dudar chipped in with three assists in the win which gives the Terriers a 1-0 lead in the series. Yorkton controlled much of the game and the only Moose Jaw goal was when they had a 5 on 3 advantage. Game two of the playdown is set for March 23 at the Farrell Agencies Arena.
