Women鈥檚 fitness and dance studio to open in Kamsack

A former main street restaurant is 小蓝视频 converted into a studio to accommodate dance instruction and a women鈥檚 fitness program.

聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 A former main street restaurant is 小蓝视频 converted into a studio to accommodate dance instruction and a women鈥檚 fitness program.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 At the beginning of October, Brittainy Spence, who has recently moved to Kamsack from Melville, will be moving into the former K Caf茅 building which she will be converting into Brittfit Fitness, a women鈥檚 only fitness studio.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淚t will be a studio for group fitness instruction,鈥 Spence said last week from the booth she was tending during the annual fall registration night at Broda Sportsplex.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淚t is for all women,鈥 she said, adding that women need a place to be women rather than have the pressures of an open gym.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淎dam and Natalie of Average Joe鈥檚 have been really helpful,鈥 Spence said, explaining that they allowed her to hold outdoor classes at their gym. 鈥淏ut, Brittfit Fitness will be a different world. They have a gym with state-of-the-art equipment, whereas Brittfit Fitness will be a women鈥檚 only studio that will have a community feel and will highlight camaraderie.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 In addition to 小蓝视频 a women鈥檚 fitness studio, Brittfit Fitness will be the location of the Kamsack Dance Club, which Spence is forming and will be instructing.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淚鈥檓 going to focus on students aged five to about 17,鈥 she said. The season will be from October 17 to March 31 with a year-end recital tentatively set for April 1.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 At the Kamsack Dance Club, she will be instructing ballet, jazz and hip hop dance.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淚鈥檒l be having a second registration and an open house with free classes from October 11 to 14,鈥 she said.

聽Born and raised in Fort Francis, Ont., Spence has been dancing for 23 years. After completing high school, she had attending the School of Contemporary Dance which is affiliated with the University of Winnipeg and has taught dance at her home studio in Fort Frances and in Melville.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淭his will be the second year that I鈥檒l be teaching hip hop dance in Melville,鈥 she said, explaining that she has certification in zumba and pilates and is a personal trainer. 聽
