Saskatoon Police charge woman with 2nd degree murder, identify victim

Saskatoon Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of 7th Street East and found 37-year-old Adam Willett deceased.

Update:  The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section has charged a 20-year-old woman with second-degree murder, in connection to a suspicious death that occurred on Friday.  

The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Adam Willett.

SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a suspicious death that occurred on Dec, 2.

On Friday at approximately 7:25 p.m., police were called to a home in the 1600 block of 7th Street East and the body of a 37-year-old Saskatoon man was found at the scene.

Investigators from the Major Crime Section as well as technicians from the Forensic Identification Section are involved in the investigation. A 20-year-old woman is in custody. No charges have been laid at this point and the investigation is continuing. Police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
