The Town of Outlook has decided on a date to provide the community with a special fireworks display after it originally needed to be postponed.
Bold and boisterous fireworks have been an annual part of Outlook's Canada Day celebrations for many years, routinely putting a cap on the festivities each summer, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there were no events held on July 1 this year and the Town announced that the always-anticipated pyrotechnic display would be postponed to a new date.
During the July 22 regular meeting of Outlook town council, a motion was made and carried to hold the fireworks show on Saturday night, September 5 during the Labour Day long weekend.聽 This decision was said to be dependent on the availability of the Town's go-to fireworks expert and current fire chief, Dalas King.
There was also talk during the meeting of a community parade possibly 小蓝视频 held in Outlook that same weekend since there wasn't one on Canada Day.
