Ballots for two polls were counted on October 26, and the RM of Keys now has an incumbent reeve as well as one incumbent councillor and two new councillors.
           A total of 272 votes were submitted in the RM of Keys’ election for reeve. Vivian Morgan, the incumbent reeve, was re-elected with a total of 166 votes. Competitor and newcomer Leslie Hryhoriw received 106 votes.
           The RM of Keys also held voting for the Div. 5 councillor. Seventy-eight voters cast their ballots, and newcomer Lorne Gazdewich won the position with 53 votes to incumbent Ken Lozinski’s 25.
           In Divisions 1 and 3, current councillor Garth Bates and new councillor Donald Kraynick were in by acclimation when nominations were submitted on September 21.
