聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Delegations from the Kamsack museum and from the Sunrise Health Region met with town council at its regular meeting on August 15.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 After meeting with Marvin McKay and Cliff Paluck, who had discussed the status of the museum and it plans and goals, council granted the Power House Museum board the use of the property where the former water treatment plant is currently located after the building is demolished. The delegation indicated that on that property, a building would be constructed to house some of the equipment that is currently 小蓝视频 kept in the outside compound.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Council authorized its public works department to undertake a landscaping project aimed at reducing a flow of water across a road access to the museum grounds.

It is expected the trail would be developed from the end of the current section and proceed east to the sportsground and Stewart Street.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Accepting a request from the Kamsack Indoor Rodeo Association, council instructed its public works department to proceed with the installation of dirt in the Broda Sportsplex as soon as time permits.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Council approved a request from Clayton Severight representing Outta Reach to utilize the sportsgrounds for a slo-pitch tournament on September 10.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Council introduced, gave three readings to and adopted a bylaw to regulate the collection of waste and recycling in the community.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Council acknowledged the receipt of four reports from the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) in regards to the 2017 re-evaluation. The were the 100 per cent assessed value trend report; the taxable assessed value trend report; the detailed trend report, and the A Look Ahead to 2017 newsletter.

It was said that this would be the last occasion for members of the current council to socialize with the staff because of the municipal election which begins with a nominating day on September 21.聽
