Light snow and warmer days following a deep freeze created slick conditions for the beginning of 2015 and a number of accidents including this crash at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Broadway Street January 2. One 59-year-old man lost his life in a single vehicle rollover in the early hours of New Year鈥檚 day 12 kilometres west of Yorkton on Hwy 52. Police said the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle crossed the centre line of the road at approximately 4:30 a.m. and rolled in the south ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries at Yorkton hospital. Alcohol was a contributing factor, the RCMP said.Thom Barker
