The Open Doors play, which is based on The Open Window, written by Saki and adapted by Jane O'Reilly, was performed by the Preeceville School students.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 In the play, has just moved to a new town. While visiting one of his sister鈥檚 acquaintances, , played by Mehgan Petryshyn, Nuttel spends some time with the woman鈥檚 niece,聽, played by Angelina Sorgen.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Vera recounts a story about how her aunt lost her husband and two brothers in a tragic hunting accident. She warns Framton that her aunt never accepted their deaths and believes that some day the hunting party will return.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 聽In anticipation, Mrs. Sappleton leaves the window in the front room open so that they may re-enter the house. When Mrs. Sappleton enters the room and discusses the hunting party, Framton is deeply disturbed by her delusion.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 However, his concern turns to pure horror when he sees three male figures dressed in hunting gear approaching the house. Believing he has seen ghosts, Framton bolts from the house.
Spinning another tale, Vera explains to the newly arrived hunting party and her aunt that Framton fled when he saw the hunting dog because of his severe fear of dogs.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cast members were: Mr. Sappleton played by Emma Covlin and Sydney Kidder and Ethan Scanlan who portrayed the two sons.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Back house crew included Trina Correos, Mia Mitchell and Shanae Shewchuk.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Members of the costume crew were Teah Reynolds, Ezren Yanke, Rowan Prestie and Jordan Lowe.
