The Family Resource Centre in conjunction with the Sturgis Station House Museum and Parkland Valley Sport Culture and Recreation hosted a one-day summer fun afternoon at the Sturgis Station House Museum on August 9.
Children were invited to join in fun inter-active games at the museum. Kennedy Kosheluk and Kendall Schneider organized and instructed the program.
The summer play mentor program works with summer program in the rural communities, providing mentorship support and delivers a two-hour play program in addition to existing summer programs.
