Sturgis runners finish strong at Deer Park meet

聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Runners from the Sturgis Elementary School and Sturgis Composite High School did well at the Deer Park cross-country meet in Yorkton on September 21.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 "We had 27 runners from the elementary school who participated at the Deer Park cross-country meet," said Carla Olson.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 There were four runners who placed in the top 10: Avyn Seerey placed third out of 83 runners; Bracyn Konkel placed ninth out of 83 runners; Brea Babiarz placed sixth out of 92 runners, and Emma Olson placed seventh out of 92 runners.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 From the Sturgis high school there were five students who attended. In the top 10 were: Kaiden Masley, Chaz Jaeb, Zane Bayer and Shanae Olson. Camron Secundiak also participated and placed 17th overall.
