聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The documentary has won numerous awards at international film festivals, according to information from the Holodomor website, including the Albert Award for Best Documentary at the Litchfield Hills Film Festival, the Best Audience Award for historical documentary and Special Eye-opener Award at the Film Festival of Colorado, Best Historical Film at the Honolulu Film Awards and the Special Jury Remi Award on Political/International Issues at the Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The film, which details the famine in Soviet Ukraine when millions were deliberately starved to death by Joseph Stalin鈥檚 regime and the accompanying destruction of Ukraine鈥檚 leadership was produced, edited and directed by Yurij Luhovy, a Montreal filmmaker.
