The Sturgis Composite High School welcomed two new teachers to the staff on the fi rst day of school on September 1.
Meghan Clancy of Saskatoon was hired as full-time sci-ence teacher. She will be responsible for the Grade 8 home-room and teaching science in all grades. She attended the University of Saskatchewan where she received her bach-elor of education and bachelor of science degrees. Clancy performed her internship in Deslisle and substituted at the Prairie Spirit School Division. This is her first full-time teaching position.
Allyson Grywacheskiis originally from Norquay and will be responsible for teaching English in grades 7-12 until Kirsten Peterson returns in November from her maternity leave. She attended the University of Regina and received her bachelor of education degree with a major in social stud-ies and a minor in English. She did her internship in Mel-ville. She will be helping to coach junior girls volleyball.
