SASKATOON — Saskatoon police are requesting assistance in locating a man charged in Saskatoon’s latest homicide, but they are cautioning against approaching him and warn that he is believed to be in possession of a firearm.
Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron, 33, is described as five foot six, approximately 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos including a Mayan statue on his right hand, a black rose on his left wrist and a gorilla on his upper torso.
Ouellet-Gendron is a suspect in a homicide that occurred on May 19 in the 700-block Melrose Avenue. He is charged with first-degree-murder in the death of Brandon Baxandall.
A second man has been charged as well. He is 35.
Anyone with information on Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron’s whereabouts is asked to avoid approaching him and call 911 or 306-975-8300. Anyone wishing to provide information but remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
