Saskatoon Police investigating after cyclist, 13, hit by SUV

Police say that at approximately 8:15 a.m., Dec. 6 they found a 13-year-old boy who had been struck by an SUV.

A teen was transported to Royal University Hospital for treatment for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.  

Update: Saskatoon Police corrected their release to say the cyclist is 13 and not 16.

SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police are investigating a collision this morning involving a cyclist and a vehicle.

Police say they were called to the intersection of Central Avenue and Fedoruk Drive at approximately 8:15 a.m., Dec. 6 and found a 13-year-old male cyclist who had been struck by an SUV. 

The teen was taken to Royal University Hospital for treatment for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.  

Police say that an update will be provided when the investigation is complete.
