聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The RM of Cote council and staff are 小蓝视频 aggravated by residents鈥 irresponsible use of the RM鈥檚 garbage receptacles which add unnecessary costs to refuse management.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Last week came the latest insult, when staff found a couple old mattresses and a deep freeze left beside the five bins located about nine kilometres east of Kamsack.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淭he garbage bins are for household garbage only; no appliances, mattresses or anything like that are permitted,鈥 said information from the RM office.
鈥淭he RM of Cote has recyclingbins at the RM shop for ratepayers to use,鈥 it said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e are very disappointed in what some people think can be recycled,鈥 said a letter from Grant See, chair of the Parkland Regional Waste Management Authority. 鈥淲e can only recycle clean cardboard, newspaper, flyers, office paper (shredded or not) milk jugs and milk cartons and most plastics.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e cannot recycle but do receive yard waste, bale wrap and twine, children鈥檚 toys, automotive parts, grain bags, building materials like two-by-fours, pallets, gyprock, demolishing waste, furniture, cat litter, dog poop, clothing and spoiled freezer food,鈥 See said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淭here is a difference between recycle bins and garbage bins and for the most part they are clearly marked but somehow some of the public cannot differentiate between them,鈥 he said, asking members of the authority to inform the public of the difficulties they are causing and the extra costs involved with separating garbage from co-mingled recycle material.
