聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 A daycare in Canora has officially celebrated its grand opening and is now allowing parents to sign up their children for care.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Rising Stars Early Childhood Centre, which is owned by Tricia Bedore, held a grand opening on January 3 and Bedore is very excited to 鈥榝inally鈥 start caring for children.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 According to Bedore, the opening went very well, but those who missed it are free to stop by the centre and take a look at what is offered.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e鈥檙e more than willing to give tours,鈥 she said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Tricia Bedore, who has her Level 1 Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate, will be running the centre with Sandy Bedore, who has a Level 3 ECE; and Jenna Campbell, who will begin her childcare education in March.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Rising Stars is licensed to care for 25 children from the age of 18 months to 12 years in casual, by-the-hour childcare. There are also a small number of full-time spots.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Though the centre is officially open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tricia emphasized that these hours are flexible for busy parents.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e would really like people to know that they can make arrangements for dropping off students a little bit early or picking them up five minutes later,鈥 she said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Tricia also said she is looking into offering other services, such as renting out the centre for birthday parties and holding babysitting services on the weekend prior to Valentine鈥檚 Day for a 鈥榩arents鈥 date night.鈥
