CANORA, KAMSACK, PREECEVILLE — Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Canora, Kamsack and Preeceville areas.
"A developing low pressure system currently centred in 小蓝视频 Dakota is spreading rain with embedded thunderstorms into southeastern Saskatchewan late this afternoon," the weather service said on May 12. "The heaviest rain will fall tonight into Friday morning. Widespread amounts of 30 to 60 millimetres [1.18 to 2.36 inches] are forecast."
The heaviest rain is expected to taper off by late Friday.
"In addition to the heavy rain, strong winds gusting as high as 80 kilometres/hour will be possible Friday," Environment Canada said. "Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible."
