The Town of Preeceville approved its committee and board appointments at its December meeting, according to Lorelei Karcha, Town of Preeceville administrator.
Mayor Garth Harris was appointed to the public works; buildings; waste management; economic development and tourism committees and the following boards: Roughrider Snowmobile Club; Parkland Regional Waste Management; Preeceville School gymnasium and Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association.
Johnny Petryshyn was appointed to the following committees and boards: finance; streets; policies and bylaws; arena board; Roughrider Snowmobile Club; School Community Council board and Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association board.
Welma Bartel was appointed to the following committees and boards: finance; protective; human resources; nuisance; policies and bylaws; recreation; Preeceville Library; Parkland Regional library and Chamber of Commerce.
Darin Newton was appointed to the following committees and boards: public works; streets; human resources; policies and bylaws; waste management; community hall; Mutual Aid Area and Emergency Measures Organization; North East Area Transportation Planning committee; Chamber of Commerce, and Preeceville School gymnasium.
Stacey Strykowski was appointed to: finance; buildings; nuisance; Occupational Health and Safety; sports grounds; community legion hall; Preeceville and District Health Focus group and health action and doctor incentive; school community council, and Preeceville and District Musher's Rendezvous committees and boards.
Sheldon Luciw was appointed to the following committees and boards: protective; streets; buildings; waste management; Occupational Health and Safety; ability bus; arena; sports grounds; Mutual Aid Area and Emergency Measures Organization; North East Area Transportation Planning committee; Parkland Regional Waste Management; Preeceville school gymnasium and Preeceville Lions family trail.
Mark Bourassa was appointed to the following committees and boards: protective; public works; human resources; nuisance; ability bus; economic development and tourism; recreational; Preeceville Library; Parkland Regional Library, and Preeceville and District Health Focus group and health action and doctor incentive.
Tammy Descalchuk was appointed to the ability bus board.
Maureen Johnson was appointed to the Parkland Regional Library board.
