The Rural Municipality of Preeceville made its committee and board appointments for 2019 at the November 9, 2018 meeting of council, according to Lisa Peterson, administrator.
The reeve and council were appointed to the finance committee and to the fire rangers committee.
Rick Pristie, reeve, was appointed to the public works committee, Occupation Health and Safety, the road committee, the Emergency Measurers Organization planning committee, Mutual Aid Area, North East Area Transportation planning committee, municipal workshop committee, bylaw committee (drafting and enforcement) and Cowessess liaison committee.
Corwin Tonn, Div. 1, was appointed to Occupation Health and Safety, road committee, the Emergency Measurers Organization planning committee and as weed inspector.
Darcy Rediger, Div. 2, was appointed to public works committee, Sturgis and District Regional Park, Emergency Measurers Organization executive committee, Sturgis and District Fire Cooperative, Preeceville Recreation Board, weed inspector, municipal workshop committee, Preeceville Arena board, Parkland Regional Waste Management Authority, Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association, doctor incentive and recruitment committee and Ketchen waterworks.
Lawrence Hamilton, Div. 3, was appointed to North East Area Transportation planning committee, Sturgis and District Fire Cooperative, Preeceville and Sturgis Recreation board, weed inspector, Parkland Regional Waste Management authority, and bylaw committee (drafting and enforcement.)
Reg Strand, Div. 4, was appointed to public works committee, Parkland Regional Library (Preeceville and Sturgis branches) and Cowessess liaison committee.
Reg Yaremchuk, Div. 5, was appointed to public works, Norquay Veterinary Service District, road committee, Sturgis and District Regional Park, Emergency Measures Organization executive committee, weed inspector, Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association, bylaw committee (drafting and enforcement), Health Focus Group and Cowessess liaison committee.
Gabe Goodsman, Div.6, was appointed to public works committee, Sturgis and District Regional Park, Endeavour Recreation board, Parkland Regional library (Preeceville branch), doctor incentive and recruitment committee and Cowessess liaison committee.

Brad Secundiak was appointed as Emergency Measures Officer and fire chief.
Burt Suknasky was appointed to the Parkland Regional Library, Sturgis branch.
Ron Skogen was appointed as pest control officer.
