SASKATOON — The death of a 25-year-old woman following a stabbing is now СÀ¶ÊÓƵ investigated as Saskatoon's third homicide of the year.
Saskatoon Police Service says the stabbing occurred Feb. 20 in the 2700 block of Main Street East.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit began investigating following two stabbings that happened over that weekend.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., Feb. 20, police were called to a residence where they located the 25-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Injuries to the woman were life-threatening. Both were transported to hospital.
