Members of the Canora RCMP and fire department sponsored their annual Bike Rodeo at the Canora Junior Elementary School on June 3 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The bike inspections were done by Robert Fougere, a firefighter, who did a job said to have been 鈥渁bove and beyond expectations.鈥� He checked brakes, tightened chains and checked seats, helmets and horns.
Among other participants who helped the young cyclists ensure that their bicycles were in good working order were Taunya Kondratoff, Sherice Fountain and Mike Doogan.
