聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 More than 400 people attended the community fall supper held in support of the Fort Pelly-Livingstone Museum at the Pelly Hall on September 20.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The event was hosted by the museum board and other community organizations.
It was a great turnout, organizers said, adding that the number includes all those who purchased take-out orders.
The museum鈥檚 board of directors thanks those who helped in the preparation of the聽supper, said information from organizers.聽With the supplies聽and food 小蓝视频 donated by local businesses and聽individuals, the event raised a large amount of money.
Proceeds from the supper were donated to the Fort Pelly-Livingstone Museum.
Being that Pelly is a smaller community, it was great to see people from surrounding communities come and enjoy the supper and offer their support to the museum, said a museum committee member.聽During the event museum memberships were sold, and they may聽still be purchased for $10 each聽by contacting any聽museum board member.
The board of directors also thanked the Rocanville museum and community for the donation from their Market at the Museum Day in August, the information said. The Fort Pelly-Livingstone Museum has set up a Facebook page in hopes to keep the public聽updated as to what is going on.
Currently the museum board is looking at the聽options available聽for the clean-up of the remains from the fire that destroyed the museum building and is requesting the聽public to stay away from the site to ensure everyone鈥檚 safety.
As things progress towards the聽clean-up and rebuilding of the museum, the聽board intends to keep the public informed of its decisions, it said.
