PREECEVILLE - Preeceville Formo Motors recently underwent some major changes that included changing the dealership to an OK Tire business with a mechanic shop that remains a viable part of the business.

OK Tire is co-owned by Don Formo, his sister Tracy Coulthart and brother Dave Formo. Elmer Formo built up the business, Formo Motors originally before he retired and turned over the business to his children,

The grand opening on June 9 featured a barbeque lunch by Ketchen Lake Bible Camp. The event showcased the Grey Cup, which everyone seemed to enjoy having their picture taken with, and concluded with a ribbon cutting 小蓝视频.

“2023 marks our 59th year of business, a lot has changed, and we strive to continue to offer the highest level of customer service,” said Don Formo. “We have always had an incredible team, who continue to look after your automotive repair needs. Three years ago, we took on the OK Tire brand, and just recently had our front end renovated. This now offers a more efficient place to work and a modern environment for our customers. Preeceville continues to thrive, which keeps us doing what we do. It is always a pleasure to talk to or meet someone who tells me that they, their father, or grandfather did business with my father 30, 40, or 50 years ago. We look forward to many more years serving Preeceville and area,” said Formo.

The original business was Parkland Sales which was purchased from Joe Babchishin by Elmer Formo in 1964. The original store was a Ford automobile and Case tractor dealership.

Elmer’s twin brother, Edward, entered the business in 1975.  Elmer and family moved to Swan River in 1977, taking on the Ford dealership in Swan River currently owned and operated by second and third generation family members.

Upon Edward Formo’s passing in 2003, the business continued as a Ford Dealership until 2013. The OK Tire Franchise was added in 2019. The building was rebuilt and completed in the spring of 2023.
