聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The new location of a Tim Hortons franchise opened next to the Canora Pharmacy and has been creating buzz throughout Canora residents ever since.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淚t鈥檚 been busy all day,鈥� said Eric Ritchot, the general manager of the location on its opening day on November 17. 鈥淧eople have been talking about it all over town.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ritchot is certainly glad to see so much interest in the location. The store was opened solely on a goal to provide for customers in the area.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The opening of Tim Hortons has been organized by Amenity Healthcare with the goal of establishing Tim Hortons locations next to pharmacies in Saskatchewan towns. This is the sixth location to receive a Tim Hortons with the project, said Ritchot, and three more will be opening this year.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e wanted to make it convenient for customers. There鈥檚 a place for them to shop and then a place right next door for them to have coffee.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淭his company is all about the customer before anything else,鈥� Ritchot said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prior to establishing the location, surveys were done in the Canora area to see what people wanted out of a coffee shop. Convenience and options were two crucial needs that Ritchot is hoping to satisfy.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淧eople like and trust Tim Hortons.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The menu includes everything that can be found at a normal Tim Hortons location, such as drinks, sandwiches, soups, salads and pastries. The store will be open from Monday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The establishment currently has 15 employees, though Ritchot said with the level of excitement the opening has generated, he is definitely looking to hire more employees to 鈥渆xtend the family.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e communicate with all the other locations, and we鈥檙e kind of all one big family,鈥� he said.
