Volunteers, who were on hand to help serve refreshments at the Strawberry Social on July 26, were easy to spot by their pink T-shirts. Standing on the step of the CN caboose, which served as the headquarters for the group during the fundraising event, from left, were: Eileen Chutskoff, Stella Sych, Cathy Cooper, Ruth Dixon and Audrey Horkoff. Horkoff has been a member of the Trackside Gardens group for 17 years, and said the group is all volunteers, with no formal executive. 鈥淲e are happy to see the excellent turn-out for this event,鈥� she said. 鈥淲e thank the community very much for the support. We will be using the proceeds to purchase more annuals and perennials for the garden. We are always looking for more volunteers.鈥�
