聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The call for nominations for a new councillor in Division 4 of the RM of Hazel Dell was issued after the current councillor Marilyn Johannesson resigned on September 9.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The two candidates who were nominated were Don Balaski and Keith Galbrath, said Sheri Kozar, administrator. Voters went to the polls on December 7 to cast their ballots.
聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 There were 61 voters who cast ballots and Keith Galbrath received 41 votes while Don Balaski received 20 votes, she said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Galbrath will take his oath of office at the regular council meeting on December 20.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 He will be serving with Reeve Randy Harriman and councillors Don Holowachuk of Div. 1; Ken Spray, Div. 2; Colin Redman, Div. 3, and Bruce Gibb, Div. 6.
