A group of 20 Kamsack residents, students of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute and their chaperones went on a 50-kilometre canoe trip in northern Saskatchewan June 9 to 13 travelling from French Lake to Missinipe, which is north of LaRonge. The following students were on the trip: Jayden Raabel, Henry Thomas, Kyle Morgan, Kaylie Bowes, Lexie Tomochko, Allison Thomsen, Breanna Bland, Mikayla Woloshyn, Nicholas Shingoose, Colin Tulloch, Regan Nichol, Chloe Irvine, Koryssa Woloshyn and Julianna Raabel. Accompanying them were Thomas, Mark Forsythe, Barbara Tanner, Rhonda Thomsen, Brian Morgan and Chase Shingoose, a student who has already graduated.
