Kamsack seniors compete in snooker and whist

The two-person teams of Jim Beauchamp and Ernie Welykholowa and Isabel Ritchie and Bernice Kropodra won the snooker and whist tournaments respectively played Friday at the Kamsack Seniors’ Centre.

            Placing second on the A side of the snooker tournament was the team of Richard Rook and Charlie Achtynmichuk, while on the B side, placing first was the team of Archie Giest and Lloyd Thomas and second, John Adamyk and Walkly Sugarawa.

            In the whist competition, second place was a tie between the teams of Anne Ewacheski and Betty Salahub and Florence Philipchuk and Olga Bobyk.

            Having the hidden score in game number one was the team of Isabel Ritchie and Bernice Kropodra, while in game number two it was Russ Brunt and Ronald Becker.

            The consolation was taken by Muriel and John Groleau.
