聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 鈥淎fter several months of dialogue with Saskatchewan gaming and licensing, we were instrumental in establishing Chase the Ace in the province,鈥� said a release from Jim Woodward, president of the Kamsack branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
The Kamsack branch is proud to announce that it has partnered with the Kamsack Volunteer Fire Fighters in providing a fundraising event that will benefit the entire community, the release said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淟ast fall the Kamsack Volunteer Fire Fighters (KVFF) came to the Legion with an appeal to help them raise money for a well-needed service vehicle,鈥� it said. 鈥淭he Legion did an initial donation with a promise to work with the KVFF in future fundraising.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淓very Friday (except holidays) we will open the Legion from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for Chase the Ace,鈥� it said. 鈥淭he fire fighters will be selling food items and we will co-share the bar.鈥�
Woodward said that other venues will be introduced 鈥渋f and when this jackpot grows.鈥�
There will be a consolation winner every week and eventually when the Ace of Hearts is drawn the jackpot will be awarded and the process will start again, it said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淭his opportunity is open to the community and the winner must be present to win,鈥� it said. 鈥淧lease come out and have fun, keeping in mind any abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
