聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Members originally worked to provide such comforts as bedding, quilts and magazines for in-patients, the information said. 鈥淣ow things have changed. We work to make the palliative care patient and family unit available and most recently on another quiet room for day use consulting or for overflow families of palliative patients.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淭hese rooms have been used on a constant basis,鈥 it said. 鈥淲e also provided funding for kitchen utensils, food carts and in-patient insulated food plate covers.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 This all takes a considerable amount of money at a time when the number of auxiliary members is dwindling, it said. Fewer members may not be able to meet these ongoing needs.

鈥淚f our community cannot show its commitment to health care, what will happen to our hospital?鈥

The auxiliary currently has about 12 active members and members claim that the auxiliary would be better able to do its job with about 20 active members.
