The Calder Good Neighbor Centre has been busy with their Whist Drives. Here are the winners from the last few whist drives that were held at The Good Neighbor Centre.
The winners are as follows: 1st Ann Mostoway, 2nd Judy Pryslak, 3rd Virginia Wandy and low Jim Fustey. The Pot of Gold winners were Mildred Danylko and Elmer Eftoda.
The Calder Good Neighbor Centre held their birthday social. Here are the birthday people: Marie Rohatensky, Marjory Mankish, Lil Wozny and Jim Fustey.
The Calder Good Neighbor Centre held their Invitational Whist Drive and here are the winners: 1st Virginia Wandy, 2nd Lorne Cockerill, 3rd Myla Daviduik and 4th Gladys Tkatchuk. The 50/50 winners were Elmer Eftoda and Harry Schmidt. Visitors at Mildred Danylko for Easter were her daughters, Donna from Regina, Leanne and Brooklyn from Martensville, her granddaughter, Kendra and friend Matt from Saskatoon. Also, visiting with Mildred Danylko was Marie Baumung from Langley, B.C.
The Calder Yalenka Dance Club held their spring concert. The Calder Community Hall was filled with family, community members and friends, who enjoyed watching all the dancers do their dances that they have worked so hard on during the year.
The Calder Yalenka Dancers took in three competitions this year. The Intermediate Trans received bronze in Regina, gold in Russell and gold in Yorkton.
Michael Raml did a Hutzul solo, he received bronze in Regina, silver in Russell and silver in Yorkton.
Brian Senderewich did a Trans Solo, he received bronze in Regina, silver in Russell and gold in Yorkton.
Katrina Raml and Michael Raml did a Poltava Duet in Regina, they received bronze, silver in Russell and silver in Yorkton.
The Intermediate Hutzul received silver in Regina, gold in Russell and gold in Yorkton.
Brian Senderewich did a Buko solo, he received silver in Regina, gold in Russell and gold in Yorkton.
The Intermediate Trans Group received bronze in Regina, gold in Russell and gold in Yorkton. The intermediate group is Bianca Raml, Briana Balabuck and Brian Senderewich. We know them as the Three B鈥檚.
The Poltava Duet by Briana Balabuck and Bianca Raml, the girls received bronze in Regina, bronze in Russell and bronze In Yorkton.
Briana Balabuck, Bianca Raml, Brian Senderewich and Michael Raml did an intermediate Buko, they received bronze in Regina, gold in Russell and gold in Yorkton.
The Junior Poltava received silver in Regina, silver in Russell and gold in Yorkton. This little group works really hard.
The intermediate Poltava group received silver in Regina, gold in Russell and gold in Yorkton. This group works really hard too.
