聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The four new councillors are Sheldon Derkatch, Brent Pelechaty, Eric Sweeney, and Kerry Trask, while the incumbent councillors are Bradley Gabora and James Trofimenkoff. Councillor Matthew Nehaj did not seek re-election.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Rakochy received 413 votes while her opponent, Glen Leson, received 321 votes. Two ballots were rejected and two were issued to individuals who declined to vote, which indicates that 738 voters were present at the election. According to the 2011 Canada Census data, there are about 1,820 eligible voters in Canora, so there was about a 41 per cent voter turnout.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 After 12 years as a councillor and two years as mayor due to the results of a byelection, this will be Rakochy鈥檚 first four-year term.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 With 11 nominees vying for one of the six seats on council, the five nominees with the lowest amount of votes were not selected. Topping the polls was Bradley Gabora (incumbent) with 432 votes. Kerry Trask (newcomer) came in second with 409 votes, Eric Sweeney (newcomer) came in third with 391 votes, and James Troffimenkoff (incumbent) came in fourth with 367 votes. The final two elected councillors were Sheldon Derkatch and Brent Pelechaty, both new councillors who acquired 342 votes and 337 votes respectively.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Not 小蓝视频 elected this year were Cory O鈥橠ell (incumbent) with 307 votes, Gerald Wolkowski (incumbent) with 289 votes, Michael Fetchuk with 232 votes, Robert Dorush with 217 votes and Sylvester Hrynkiw (incumbent) with 196 votes.
