Eaglestone Lodge October column

October was an exciting month for the residents at Eaglestone! This year the residents had the opportunity to go out and take part in celebrating Octoberfest. I was able to bring out eight residents who all had a blast and enjoyed the amazing food and live entertainment.
Members of the Kamsack Legion then joined us for our October birthday party, which is always a blast. The residents always love when the Legion does the birthday party. The people from the Legion always come in such great costumes and have such a positive, lively and fun attitude.
After that exciting party, the residents got busy making cookies for their Halloween party. At their Halloween party they had Peter and Friends join them from Canora to play music and tell some great jokes. They're always great entertainment and are enjoyed by everyone. On Halloween the residents especially enjoyed the dressed-up kids who stopped by for candy, but who doesn't like seeing cute little kids all dressed up?
