On the afternoon of May 16, the body of a 62-year-old Canora Beach resident was discovered about 10 yards off the shore at Canora Beach at Good Spirit Lake.
The Canora RCMP received the call that the man was missing at about 2:30 p.m., said Cpl. Trevor Shea. While conducting a search with family members, the man鈥檚 body was discovered tangled in reeds. He had apparently drowned.
The family has not authorized the release of his name and the investigation is continuing, said Shea.
