The sponsorship of the Canora Cobras Senior Hockey Club and a landfill emergency plan were among the items of concern to town council at its regular meeting on November 17.
Council agreed to purchase a Package B sponsorship for the Canora Cobras Senior Hockey Club 2020 season at a cost of $400.
Council adopted the landfill emergency response plan.
Council amended signing authority at Crossroads Credit Union to add Mayor Mike Kwas and Councillors Jacqueline Fetchuk, David Wasyliw and Matt Thompson; and remove Mayor Jim Vewchar and Councillors Sheldon Derkatch, James Trofimenkoff and Brent Pelechaty.
Pastor Brett Watson met with council via videoconference to discuss the Canora Ministerial Association and offer a prayer for council.
