聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 A Kamsack district couple, who are not shy with their praises for the district鈥檚 beautiful scenery and outstanding opportunities for outdoor adventure, has decided to share their home in a new accommodations business.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Warren and Brenda Andrews of Cote Siding have made alterations to their home in order to accommodate up to two adults in a business they call Mountain Garden Accommodations.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Located in their private home, but with a separate entrance, the suite features a full bath with rain shower; a sitting area with coffee, tea and snacks; a bedroom equipped with a desk and a queen-sized bed, and three outside sitting areas and patios.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e are licensed by the Saskatchewan Department of Health,鈥 Brenda said, adding that although they will not be receiving their first guests until early May, they are now ready to take bookings.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The couple explained that they are working exclusively with airbnb.com, an Internet company which arranges the bookings and collects the fees.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e feel this suite in our home is ideal for people wishing to make a short stop from one night to a month to visit a relative, attend a family event such as wedding or reunion, or for business travellers,鈥 Brenda explained, adding that rather than also providing meals they decided to point their guests to the many fine restaurants in the area.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淥ur accommodations are meant for people who are looking for a more private, quiet place to stay. It is close to Madge Lake as well as to Kamsack and is a bit more comfortable than staying in a hotel or motel.鈥
