聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The truck collided with a moose around 11 p.m. on July 5. The truck was travelling on the highway 9 north when the moose moved onto the road and blocked the truck鈥檚 path.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The vehicle鈥檚 driver was assisted by witnesses to evacuate his truck before it started on fire, Const. Taunya聽Kondratoff聽of the聽Canora/厂迟耻谤驳颈蝉听RCMP聽detachment reported.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The driver, a male from Sturgis, was unharmed.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 To avoid accidents such as the one on July 5, motorists should take care to look out for wild animals that may wander onto roadways, especially in the evenings, Kondratoff said.
