Stolen Bicycles
The Canora/Sturgis RCMP are requesting the public鈥檚 assistance in solving the following crime. Between July 14 and 15, two bicycles were stolen from a backyard on Third Avenue East in Canora. Anyone with any information related to this incident is asked to contact the Canora/Sturgis RCMP at 306-563-4700.
Seeking the public鈥檚 assistance
The Canora/Sturgis RCMP are seeking the public鈥檚 assistance in locating Brian David Finlay who is last known to reside in the RM of Hazel Dell. Mr. Finlay has a warrant for his arrest from outstanding charges relating to a motor vehicle collision on Dec. 28, 2018 and appears to be avoiding apprehension. Mr. Finlay has been charged with impaired operation, impaired operation over .08 mg per cent, drive while suspended and operate an unregistered vehicle.
Anyone who knows whereabouts of Mr. Finlay is asked to please contact the Canora/Sturgis RCMP at 306-563-4700 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Any information provided will remain anonymous. The RCMP would like to remind the public that everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Theft
On July 24 at approximately 9:15 p.m. a theft occurred from a farm located north of Stenen. The two male suspects were driving an older two-door white GMC truck with a regular cab. The suspects stole tools and a black 50cc Arctic Cat quad. The suspects were followed into Sturgis before they were lost. If anyone has any knowledge of this theft or the whereabouts of the tools or quad, please contact the Canora/Sturgis RCMP or call 911 or 310-RCMP.
