The Canora/Sturgis RCMP responded to 54 calls during the week of April 29 to May 6, some of which included: one traffic accident, 18 provincial traffic offenses, one impaired operation, nine other provincial statutes, one mischief, two break and enters, and 11 other incidents.
COVID compliance
On April 29, Canora/Sturgis RCMP conducted COVID-19 compliance checks on travellers that returned home to the Canora area. Compliance checks are completed to ensure mandatory quarantine rules are 小蓝视频 followed when returning to Canada from abroad.
Happy ending
Canora/Sturgis RCMP spoke to a complainant on April 29 who requested police assistance with finding a friend who had gone missing in Canora. Police conducted neighbourhood inquires but the missing friend returned home on their own accord.
Mysterious break-in

Overstayed their welcome
On May 2, Canora/Sturgis RCMP were called to a residence in Canora for a guest refusing to leave. Prior to police arrival, the guest left the residence on their own and further police involvement was not required.
Roommate disagreement
Canora/Sturgis RCMP responded to a disturbance on May 3 at a residence in Preeceville. Police attended and mediated a conflict between the occupants of the home.
COVID complaint
The Canora RCMP Detachment received a complaint of a young boy breaching COVID-19 isolation rules by riding his bike in Canora on May 2.聽 Police were unable to locate the young boy or confirm if any COVID-19 isolation rules were broken.
Repeated disturbances
On May 4, Canora/Sturgis RCMP attended a residence in Canora twice for reports of a disturbance. Police provided assistance and advice to the occupants of the home.
