Aaron Herriges, director of leisure services, called the games, assisted with 鈥済reat enthusiasm鈥 by his four-year-old daughter Aliannah. Herriges organized the Teen Bingo and the Family Skate with assistance from Crossroads Credit Union and the Leisure Services Board.

A total of 26 players took part in Teen Bingo, ranging in age from 12 to 17, with a Bluetooth speaker and ITunes gift card up for grabs for the winner of each of the five preliminary rounds. The winners were: Jordan Harper, Logan Grabowski, Karbin Rubletz and Bronson Heshka, who was a double winner.

But Robin Skurat stepped up when it mattered most, wining the blackout round and the grand prize, a seven-inch Fire Tablet.

鈥淎s is always the case, you could see the tension rising in the room during the last few numbers of the blackout round,鈥 said Herriges.

Herriges said it was an enoyable evening, benefiting from scheduling the Teen Bingo to coincide with the Family Skate.

鈥淗aving the two events together brings in more families and helps keep everyone busy,鈥 he stated.

Herriges said volunteer support from Crossroads Credit Union and the Leisure Services Board, along with the support of the Civic Center kitchen staff contributed significantly to the success of the evening.
