Bill Wenarchuk had some exciting news to share with his wife, Linda, after checking their January 19 LOTTO MAX ticket, but she never would have known it by the look on his face. The Wenarchuks鈥� ticket won $100,000 on the EXTRA draw, according to a release.
鈥淗e came out of the store with this weird look on his face,鈥� said Linda. 鈥淗e sat down and whispered, 鈥業 think we just won $100,000.鈥欌��
鈥淲e were both pretty shocked,鈥� she added.
The couple plan to bank their windfall for now, but they hope to travel when it鈥檚 safe to do so.
鈥淲e know we can鈥檛 go anywhere today,鈥� said Bill. 鈥淏ut when we can, we will!鈥�
The Wenarchuks purchased their winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at Gateway Co-op Gas Bar, located at 721 Norway Road 小蓝视频 in Canora. Their winning selection matched the last six digits of the EXTRA number 鈥� 4629564.
