Bravo Dance Co. was named聽Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce聽Warman, Martensville and Region Business Excellence Award for New Business winner at its awards 小蓝视频 on May 3 in Martensville.
Meagan Barabash, owner and artistic director, originally grew-up in Preeceville and currently lives in Martensville.
This formal business event was attended by 360 key community and business leaders from Warman,聽Martensville聽and the surrounding areas. Awards were also presented in Community Involvement, Customer Service, Non-Profit of The Year and Business Of The Year, stated the Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce聽Facebook website. The Gala provides the ideal platform to showcase businesses to some of the region鈥檚 most vibrant businesses, alongside the opportunity for organizations to share in the benefits of defining and rewarding business excellence in the Warman and Martensville regions, said the website information.
In Barabash鈥檚 acceptance speech she referenced the journey of Bravo Dance Co. as that of a roller coaster. The twists and turns, ups and downs, surprises around the corner, the exhilarating and scary moments, the spectacular view from the peaks, and the easy coast to catch your breath.聽
鈥淲e couldn鈥檛 be more grateful to share this ride with everyone and are so appreciative to have so many beautiful souls supporting us and my dream. Work hard, follow your dreams, and don鈥檛 stop when it gets tough, it just makes the victory so much sweeter,鈥 said Barabash.
She said since the conception of the dance company in 2015 she has exceeded all her expectations.
Barabash continues to grow the business and offer new programs.
鈥淲e provide so much more than just dance lessons. We work with each student on a one-to-one basis and get to known that student鈥檚 needs. We firmly believe in giving back to the community and the community has supported the company. The personal level that we connect with each student is showcased in our passion, morals, and values that are passed down to our students,鈥 said Barabash.
Barabash is the daughter of Lawrence and Shelly Barabash of Preeceville and grand-daughter of Phyllis Kozun of Canora.
