A power outage which lasted about six hours occurred on Thursday, May 9 due to an accident on a farm field about three kilometres southeast of Canora. In addition to Canora, other communities affected were: Buchanan, Invermay, Kamsack, Preeceville, Sturgis, Togo, Norquay and Pelly.
