Three upcoming events hosted by the Yorkton Exhibition Association will be either cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The Yorkton Exhibition Association takes the threat of COVID-19 seriously, and the health and safety of our patrons and staff is paramount. Resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and at the recommendation of provincial authorities the Yorkton Exhibition Board of Directors has made the difficult decisions regarding the following events," said a release from the Yorkton Exhibition Association.
The Yorkton 4-H Spring Steer & Heifer Show, scheduled for April 16-18, 2020 has been cancelled.
The Yorkton Spring Expo, scheduled for April 17-19, 2020, has been postponed. The tentative date is set for June 12, 13, & 14, 2020.
Safety Day, set for June 4, 2020, has also been postponed to a future date.
"Please know these decisions are not made lightly; however, we feel it is in the best interests for all. We have been in contact with all parties involved to inform them of these cancellations," stated the same release.
