World Prayer Day

The Bredenbury Lion's Sliding Party was held on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at the Rose Bowl. Hot dogs and hot chocolate were served to all who came out. Quite a few enjoyed the day despite the cold temperature.

Bredenbury Knox United Church will have World Day of Prayer Service on Friday March 4th at 10 a.m. Everyone welcome! This year the World Day of Prayer was prepared by the Women of Chili. Theme of the service is "How many loaves have you?" Church Service every Sunday at 10:10 a.m. Everyone welcome.

Bredenbury Cougars played on Friday night against Rocanville, third game in the series winning 7-3. Saturday travelled to Rocanville and won 5-2. They now play Langenburg in the final series of the Triangle Hockey League. They played their second game of Provincials in Lumston on Sunday. it was a two game total goal series. Bredenbury won in double over time 6-4. Congratulations.

Congratulations to the Saskatchewan Amber Holland Rink for winning the Tournament of Hearts in curling. They now travel to Denmark for the World's.

Get well wishes to Don Mitchell who has been transferred to Regina, to the Wascana Centre.School students are back after the mid February break.

Get well wishes to Cliff Taylor who is in the Wascana Centre in Regina and is coming along well.A service of recognition for Tom Carnahan, a designated lay minister for the Four Town Pastoral Charge was held Friday, Feb. 25 at the Presbytery Meeting at St. Andrew's United Church in Yorkton.

Visiting with Gerald & Darlene Burman and families this past week were Yulanta Patterson of Vancouver, Allisha Patterson of Kingston, Ont., Pat Rowland of Prince Albert and Brett Rowland of Stoughton.

Pat Rowland and Darlene Burman travelled to Brandon Friday to visit Penny and Charlie La Rocque. Get well wished to Penny who is recovering from surgery.
