Summer Fun in Yorkton is back for another exciting season thanks to SaskAbilities, who听are once again provide programming to children and youth experiencing disability 鈥媔ncluding听learning disabilities, mental health and neurological disabilities,听and other barriers.听
鈥淭he Covid-19 Pandemic has impacted countless individuals and programs,鈥 said Aleks Hoeber Program Manager, Yorkton Branch. 鈥淎s a result, we made changes to Summer Fun to ensure staff and participants stay safe and healthy.鈥
Hoebernoted, 鈥淪ummer Fun is all about building friendships, trying new听actives,听and developing new skills! Although we听won't听be able to meet in person, we are excited to offer skill building and activities that will be helpful in making a smooth transition back to school,鈥 adding, 鈥渢echnology has been so beneficial during these unprecedented times.鈥
As a result small group virtual programming and one-on-one activities will take place throughout July and August. 鈥
