Saskatchewan Health Authority has lifted the restrictions in place at the Society for the Involvement of Good Neighbours (SIGN) since Oct. 6 for face鈥恡o鈥恌ace, in鈥恏ome and in鈥恛ffice meetings, and transportation in Yorkton and area. Staff and clients may now see each other again in person.聽聽

Effective Oct. 26, SIGN is back to providing in鈥恜erson services using masks, hand hygiene, intensive sanitization of spaces, spacing of two meters, screening questions and temperature checks. Screening questions will now include asking if someone has been in an outbreak area as listed on the Saskatchewan government website in the past 14 days. If so, the meeting or visit must be postponed.聽聽

If it is an emergency and the individual must be seen in鈥恜erson and answers yes to the outbreak question, staff will wear a gown, goggles, gloves and mask for the entire visit. Otherwise the precautions that were in place before Oct. 6 will be followed.聽
