Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month.
Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS.
The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement.
Melanie is a kind, courteous, respectful and polite person who always includes everyone.
She is a great listener who knows when to keep her opinions to herself and always knows the right thing to say. Melanie always puts others ahead of herself.
She is an honour roll student who is in both math and English AP.
She is a hard working and creative person who always tries her best.
She is involved in band, jazz band, musical, drama, UROCK, and Just Youth.
Melanie is always the first to volunteer and is a great example for other students.
She is a quiet and encouraging leader and a true friend. She works at her mom's ice cream store in Canora and attends church every Sunday.
Brandon is a dedicated person who always does what he says he will do. He helped a lot with the magazine campaign. He is a kind, quiet and amazing leader for younger students.
He likes to get others involved. Brandon maintains a 90% plus average and has won subject awards all his years at Sacred Heart.
He always works hard and tries his best. He is in both AP classes, is never late and never misses school.
In school Brandon is involved in Rock band, musical, drama, SRC, music ministry, yearbook, and grad choir.
He works at Superstore in the meat department and is a camp counsellor at Camp O'Neil.
