Torgrimson said the local office has a person on staff to answer questions about the program, and to help people wondering "where they are in their claims (process)."

If people have questions about any aspect of PDAP. "they will be able to get the answers that they need."The office is currently opened Tuesday-thru-Thursday, but Torgrimson that too is "小蓝视频 monitored to see what the needs are."

Torgrimson said establishing the office is in response to the need brought about "by the severity of the event and its impact on the claimants."

To-date there have been 865 claims to PDAP from Yorkton, said Torgrimson, adding there have been 780 payments made, totalling approximately $2.2 million.

The office though is still something that can help people finalize claims,

"It's just to ensure if people do have questions the get them answered. They do have a face (to deal with) not just a phone call."

To set up an appointment locally, people can call 786-1778.
